The cliff above St.Chely du Tarn to the North is 400 m. high, and the southern rim of the Tarn canyon is even higher (490 meter above St. Chely) There are numerous other magnificent places to admire the panorama above the Tarn River Canyon, which runs 54 km long between the Limestone plateaus Causse de Sauveterre to the North (visible on this picture) and Causse Méjean to the south (the picture was taken from its rim).
