Ian Stehbens on May 5, 2009

Thank you Simona. It was a joy to be alive, to rise early and watch the morning illuminate the dunes, beach and water, and listen to the early morning songs and carols of the birds.

Early morning it is very fine!

And morning in Australia, on coast of the ocean, washing a fresh breeze, even better...

Greetings from Russia! Rostov on Don

Ah. Beats Clacton any day. Thanks.

Ian Stehbens on May 5, 2009

Dear Bulbas,

This reminds me of your camping in the tall grasses of the Don marshes.

There is so much freedom on the extensive and beautiful sandy beaches of Australia.

Ian Stehbens on May 5, 2009

Dear Russ,

Glad this gives you beach envy, but I loved wandering your towpaths, driving your lanes, rambling on the moors and rubbing brasses in many an English church. And your album is a testament to such Anglo pleasures.

Ian, it is beautiful, pictures of your nature to be seen. The light of the morning produced the beautiful colors of the image.

Humanity must endeavor to maintain this beauty.

Nice greetings from Germany,

Ge Ko

Ian Stehbens on May 6, 2009

Dear Ge Ko,

We love our beaches and our dunes, and much is done to ensure that the dunes remain vegetated and the beaches clean. Every season brings its changes to the beach, as the sand gradually flows northward along the beach. And every year the beach may be the same, but the sand is a new lot of sand - just like a river the beach is always the same but never the same.

Warm regards from Brisbane,

How wonderful to awake to a warm ruby glow like this, Ian - I can just imagine the fresh salty smell of the sea, the soft shushing of those silvery-rose waves on the sand and the birdcalls, and of course that beautiful "Rose Doré" glow on the banks. (That is the name of my favourite colour Watercolour!!)

You captured a magic moment. Such a lovely photo - thank you for sharing it - it cannot help making one feel cheery and optimistic, as it promises a new day!!

Warm wishes and a big smile, Hazel

Greetings to friends in Rostov on Don and Capetown Under the Table,

When one can sit on a beach at daybreak, camera at the ready, the world is a wonderful place, indeed. Best wishes, Bulbas. From Ian

And Hazel, I am chuffed by your special appreciation, and the sensitivity to colour, light and mood. If I can share a few more images with that Rose Doré hue I will be pleased. Warmest greetings. May you glow with optimism every day.

Fantastic landscape and colours, dear Yan! It should be very romantic and beautiful moment!

Warm regards, Eva

Ian Stehbens on May 18, 2009

There has to be a Panoramio rendezvous in Australia, dear Eva, and you must come. And we could limit the photo-sessions to the beach ecosystems. I am delighted that you like this place and the photo taken in the first rays of the sun.

My very warmest wishes, Eva.

EVA_L on May 18, 2009

My dear friend, you know that it is my dream to visit Australia and, mainly, to meet with you and Margaret!

Ian Stehbens on May 18, 2009

And we dream with you, Eva!!
