This is a house in Pomerode, Santa Catarina, one of the Southern States in Brazil. It was colonized by pommeranian immigrantes back in the 1850s, that'`s why you can see a Fachwerkhaus, or gridlockhouse, a tecnique used in the whole Europe since 5 centuries before Christ. The bicycle is one of the main ways of transportation in this small town.
