Manastirea Cetatuia

Construction was carried out by the prince Gheorghe Duca between 1666 and 1672 on one of the seven hills and was dedicated to the Saint Tomb of Jerusalem. Thanks to the many restorations, it kept its original form. Even if the monastery is a bit isolated from the city, the serenity that brings in the soul of the tourist is worth the sorrow to assemble the Cetatuia hill.

Constructia a fost ridicata de voievodul Gh. Duca ntre anii 1666 si 1672 pe una din cele sapte coline ale orasului si este inchinata Sfantului Mormant de la Ierusalim. Datorita restaurarilor si-a pastrat forma originala. Cu toate ca este oarecum izolata de oras, linistea pe care o aduce in sufletul vizitatorului merita efortul depus pentru a ajunge sus.
