Hello Fran, the landscape in my region of the UK is very hilly and the farmers grow crops and graze cattle almost to the very edge of the cliffs. The cliffs vary in height up to a max of some 200 metres!! Glacial activity over thousands of years is largely responsible for creating the peaks, valleys and dales of North Yorkshire!! Much of what you see here is part of a wider national park!!

ϐriţisђ...I shall remember this day for its bright blue skies and warm breeze..it it hard to believe that this was taken ten months ago..The rest of the year was a bitter disapointment! I look forward visiting the Port and if the weather is fair, I might be there sometime tommorow..Thanks for dropping in..

I love this kind of landscapes, your country is so beautiful and interesting. I visited London this year in March, and i am going again next year. I would like to visit Port Isaac, Dorset and York if i have enough time.
