Hi! picsonthemove, this is one of those places that is a little way off the beaten track!!
Dear Yasemin, this sunny day showed the village in a good light. The tide was very high too at almost 5 metres, At low water this view is quite different ;>)
Thank you both for your visit and encouraging words ;>))

Greetings ♫ Russ Hamer. Thats easy!!
Take the A46 to the A1, leave the A1 for York on the A64. Turn off onto the A170 for Malton and follow the road to Whitby. Staithes is about 11 miles up the coast ;>))

HI JIM ! THIS LITTLE SETTLEMENT, STAITHES IS BEAUTIFUL! I think that he may not have many residents, and may be enough quiet one, calm place . How tall are those rocks? I love it, with a friendly greeting Natuska from Hungary
