HI JIM ! THIS LITTLE SETTLEMENT, STAITHES IS BEAUTIFUL! I think that he may not have many residents, and may be enough quiet one, calm place . How tall are those rocks? I love it, with a friendly greeting Natuska from Hungary

Neil Grimwood on July 9, 2010

Wonderful shot Jim, shows Staithes at its best, its a...LIKE! and a fav. You have some cracking local pictures,i shall be back later:-))

Jim Evans (AXOTA) on July 9, 2010

Bánfalvi Suzi Natusk…,...This is no longer a typical close knit community Natuska..When the value of these houses increased, they became too expensive for the local people, on poor wages, to buy..The richer people from the cities bought these houses and use them only for week-end breaks and summer holidays..This has a bad effect on village life..The heart of the community has gone ;>)

Neil Grimwood~~~~I'm most grateful for your generous appraisal Neil...and coming from one who knows the area well, I take that as a big compliment..

Kind regards to you both ;>)
