Thanks Danny ;>)
I had the earlier A10 version of your 'Royal Star' It was known as the 'Golden Flash'. A 650cc ohv, with cast iron cylinders and heads! Single Amal carb! The forerunner of the Road Rocket, and no where near as good ;>)
Thanks for the great link Lorenzo
Hi! zaimartin. Yep! A reminder of times when the British and Italian bikes ruled supreme ;>)
Greetings gerando, WOW!! that must have been some belt ;>)
These Triumphs had an unmistakable exhaust note tsipro, they had smooth engines with good power too ;>)

Hi Jim. Re the cottages in Halliwell. Yes, I stood outside and felt anger at the way the cottage had been treated though tempered with pleasure that it had survived for me to find it. One day I would like to go and see inside. Hence my message here! For those who have no idea what I am talking about.. I had a T110 for 18 months. Ruddy thing got me there but drove me mad breaking down for no reason. Also had a bantam, no less than three cubs and an A10 Super Rocket which I bought as an outfit then... Ah. Geek alert...

Hi Axtoa. Thanks for the pic of the Bonnie, I had the little sister Daytona the 500 cc version back in 1971- brings back special memories. And for the so called art of the pump and crankshaft at the Royal Quays, I entirely agree.
