Aass Bryggeri, for Nick W, Nick K and Art's x-brother in law

Aass Brewery (Aass Bryggeri) is Norway's oldest brewery. Founded in 1834 in Drammen, Norway, the brewery's primary products are beer and aquavit. Warning - don't touch the aquavit :)))

Amelia, Thanks for the nice and vertical building, whic is unlike my x-brother in law who is most likely not vertical at the moment. As an aside, remember my that photo you took of my grandfather's house? Well, the wide entryway was so that the Beer Wagon could be brought out from the courtyard behind. Loose fingers on the keys, my dear, let the "h" run away. I am a glass away from being a tea totaler, because of pain watching my parents. I do enjoy a good pint of beer or a good glass of wine with a meal but you never find me in a bar. I feel pubs in the UK aren't like bars in the US, so I am usually more at home in them, especially if there is a quaint room upstairs to sleep in at the end of my drive. I think you understand. Bass Buggery ~ what a name for a brewery and it is too late the warning ~ Aquavit and I first met up in Sweden many years ago ~ I was quite happy to leave it there though!! So Art's Brother in Law is not only traversing the North of England from West to East ~ he is merely on his way to Norway perhaps for the serious drinking to begin. I remember once being on the ferry from Tilbury to Gothenberg and being amazed at the antics of the Scandi ~ they were practically bathing in alcohol ~ tra la la, where as I was stuffing myself silly on the food!!

They had a field day with this name on one of the UK TV programmes apparently - who in their right mind would drink Aass beer? It isn't bad at all - we've tried it :))

Yes the pick up truck has ambitions beyond its Springs capacity and the black car will suffer collateral damage (as they say) I seem to remember a TV ad for XXXX Australian beer where a pick up truck got hopelessly over loaded with crates of beer ~ Maybe Art's brewery expert knows it.
