Good morning my Bonnie Lad, I hope you have woken up to some sunshine as we have here, but unfortunately we have a very chilly wind.

I think this sculpture was well placed on the banks of Drammenselva - just waiting for someone to get the photo of the brewery on the other side. Thanks for your praise, you know I always appreciate it :))

We were in Drammen for 3 days, it is due NNW from Fredrikstad - I think that is where you said your ancestors came from, and a train runs directly to it - but I didn't have time to make a visit :(

Jen - I can see what you mean, but the sculpture of a turbine represents 100 years of Hydroelectric power in Norway, and Drammen is one of the important areas for this :))

I hope you understand now that it just isn't plonked there for no reason :))
