The reason this pearl is highly priced is that it is a blue moon! They are quite rare but as they recur periodicaly, there is one for you also Amelia. I am sure that you two Panoramio friends won't mind having matching pearls!

When either or each of you come to Australia, remember to include Fraser Island in your itinerary. I'll happily be your host and guide. But when you come, please wear your pearl.
