Fantastic photo, Marilyn! The shapes, the colours, the shadows, simply perfect! And above all the ladder. I love it! Of course a YS and a best of! I like them as much as any sculptures. Warm regards, May

Hello Marilyn.
You really do have an eye for these kinds of things. You produced an image with superb interplay of color, texture, lighting, and composition.
All my best to you, Larry

Many thanks, May, Rom@nce, Feika, jenper, Hank, and Larry**, and special thanks, May, for your generosity! There were so many intriguing lines and shapes that I wasn't at all sure I could find a satisfactory image within all that busyness. I'm glad you think I succeeded.
I'm using another Panoramio photographer's identification of this as Furnace #2. As we were leaving, my husband went back to the information office to find out what it was, and he was told that there wasn't anything there! Maybe Canadian vs. Alabama English caused the miscommunication!
Special thanks, Larry, for your comment. When I'm in this kind of setting I feel out of my element: what's a nature/landscape photographer doing in a place like this?? But at the same time I find it very stimulating to be stretched this way.

You may be out of your element Marilyn, but you have caught some lovely elements of industry here. Very geometrical, super spirals and shadows, and a nice touch of green to complement the other colours.
Greetings, Amelia
