Lovely John - well composed and worthy of a Y*.

Where was this taken? It could be at a beach around the Western Cape with that white fine sand and the pink daisy which is indigenous to the Western Cape. It grows everywhere along sandy roads, on sand dunes, etc and it is magnificent in spring!

It is a Senecio elegans, (Wild Cineraria) of the Daisy Family. A really beautiful capture, John.

Warm greetings, Hazel

Hello Hazel, thanks so much for your lovely comments and the Y*.

This was taken south of Dunedin in NZ and grows wild along the coast. Thanks for the info and the flower names. I don't know much about flowers but I do like to photograph them.

Best wishes to you, John
