Graham Hobbs ~ I didn't have to do a night shot Graham I was on the main section of the bridge, tripod set up dead centre to take a closer shot of St Paul's when a single runner approached in a red vest ~ it was as though a herd of elephants were thundering by, the whole bridge floor was vibrating!! It did calm down again fairly quickly so the dampening works I guess ~ so any night shot might be best taken around 3 or 4 am I guess ~ ciao nick
Wonderful composition and very beautiful photo.
Greetings, GK :)
G Kesmev ~~ Hello to you GK and friendly greetings too ~ I'm glad that you like this composition and find it beautiful ~ that is music to my ears ~ Ciao nick

Ah, as I suspected, you do have your own interesting takes of this iconic bridge! In fact, I rather imagine I can see myself taking this downwards from the dome of St Paul's in your background. Good shot, Nick, Herb
Herb Riddle ~ It is a bit of a magnet to me Herb and a good place to be whilst I'm waiting for the sun to rise higher to light up the City :) and yes I was rather worried that some one had moved the Tower of London :)
beegood ~ I love the purity of lines without people cluttering up the scene ~ although of course you are absolutely correct ~ no people ~ no need to have a bridge ~ Solitary Hugs ~P

Christos Theodorou ~ Thank you :)
αναρωτιέμαι, μετά την παγκόσμια λιτότητα των μαζών, ποιοι πραγματικά θα χαίρονται όλα αυτά τα αριστουργήματα των πόλεων... αναρωτιέμαι...
Giorgos Rodinos, ~ I'm sure what you wonder makes a lot of sense in your language but using the services of the translation from Greek the meaning is a little lost perhaps and I wonder what you wonder ....
I wonder, after the global austerity of the masses, Who is he, that would really enjoy all these masterpieces of cities ... I wonder ...
see the original translation read as I wonder, after the global tightening of the masses, who would really enjoy all these masterpieces of cities ... I wonder ...
So thank you very much for being kind enough to offer your translation which makes more sense ~
You know I that I feel that the enjoyment of architectural triumphs is free and that many of the true joys of life are equally free ~ it is time to get back to basics ~
