that's a great shot.
Greetings from Germany
Very beautiful composition. Greetings..Francisco.
erlebnis-foto.de ~~ Hi Stef ~ yes thanks ~ it is amazing what enormous lumps of architecture I can squeeze into a shot ~ this building is mega sized ~ all the best to you from nick
Franciscogc ~~ Thanks for your lovely compliments dear friend ~~ Ciao nick
Wow amazing. A whole new view on a familiar landmark.
That's a pretty fancy shot, Nick.
jeangenie ~~ Thanks again ~ I do try to find original views to familiar landmarks especially in London :))
not1word ~~ Thanks a lot, now if only there was an old shot up chair somewhere!!
Thanks to you both for visiting ~ all the best nick
Not everyone can inhabit the rarefied strata that calls for such a chair, Nick. Many aspire, but few are able to withstand the open-mouthed stares which accompany it. ; )
Nice one Nick, I love the reflections in the gherkin. Now what's all this about chairs??
Fantastic building and delightful view. Great colours. Good job Nick.
Best wishes Micha
Best wishes Micha

Wow, what a stunning photo Nick. Well done.
WOOWWW Beautiful picture of a very interesting building...
Greetings from Germany,
Amelia Royan ~~ Dearest macro sorry to take soo long to reply ~ you will have to visit my friend not1word's gallery and find his old shot up chair ~ it attracts all sorts of dubious characters you know! ~ I wonder if you have found the relective shot that I had you in mind of when I took it?
>| Micha |< Thanks again Micha this of course is one of the most dominant towers in the City, but hard to get a close up of :)
A.Lebacq ~~ I live the design of this building Arthur and visited both days this weekend to attempt to capture it in good light ~ thanks for your kind compliments :)
Henny Penny, ~ Thank you Jen I'm very happy to receive your praise :)
Mario Escherle, ~~ What a big WOW Mario ~ I'm so glad that you find it interesting too :)
Thanks to you all of visiting and for taking the time and trouble to comment ~ it inspires me to greater things (I hope :) ~~ ciao nick
Great view of this building. From this point of view it is difficult to guess how high the gherkin is ;) It also could be a piece of artwork having been shot by lying on the ground. And I like the reflection of the sky and the clouds in the facade.
Greetings from Germany, Gabi
Hello Nick, great series from London. Thanks for sharing.
sh-mitte ~~ I think your suggestion of a lying on the ground shot is very good, but the trouble is at my age if I lie down there is a danger I don't get back up! :))) Maybe I'll try it next time I'm down that way. ~~ I'd also agree that this shot gives you not much of an idea of its magnitude or height, but as it features in plenty of my adjacent shots ~ I'm not too bothered about that. Thanks for your thoughtful analysis Gabi
©Franco Truscello, ~~ After the enjoyement of composing and taking the shots Franco ~ to then share the shots with others is my greatest pleasure ~ and then to receive back complimentary comments is the icing on the cake! so a big thank you to you too :)))
Friendly greetings to you both from nick
