These houses have been moved from various places around the area of Drammen, and reconstructed in an open air museum. The timbers, presumably used for the upkeep, were stored a little way off in the woods. The construction of the houses showed how the specially shaped timbers were used.
A nice relaxing scene and great information ~ it is very useful to have the link to the other shot of the timbers as well. Thank you
A GE photo dear Nick, but I found these little patches of open air museums in the hills above Drammen very interesting.
I think my bootees have stopped slipping on the wet granite by the Ypsilon Bridge :))
Thought it might be ~ I'm doing a great big GE project at the moment ~ it will last all summer I think ~ I'll go and have another peep at the Y knot bridge now ~ Ciao
