Yes, you are right! It was really beautifull hotel, but now it is a huge building site. On its place Russians are building a new complex of hotels with more than 15 swimming pools, with heliodrom and underwater restaurant.... but for now this is only a nice story, because it is still under construction and no one knows when it is gonna be finished..

what a shame. i worked for the company yugotours during the 80s and visited many places in yugoslavia. here was my favourite. i tried seeing if it was possible to revisit hotel as but could never find anything about it until i happened to find it on google earth. it makes me sad to see it in such a mess. when did it close? was it due to the war. i see many other hotels are being refurbished and reopened. i would love to return to yugo one day. i visited mostar one time and that was also really beautiful. i believe they have restored it to its formar glory....

Yugotours is no longer exist, like everything else that firm owned, something is sold out and something is left to crumble.. The Hotel was closed I think in 1999 (plus-minus some year). War has no deal in it, "somebody" closed it and left to crumble, then they sold it to "some russian" for a 1/10 of real price, as everything in Montenegro!! I hope so that they'll finish it in a few years, but it gonna be a very expensive and high class hotel...

Steta sto su tamo vec godinama dizalice i ne moze se ni prici. Sve da izgrade neki Burj al Arab to nece biti to, jer ne moze imati dusu kao nekad hotel "AS".
