they where a great long term bike but did not fit my frame at 6'3" this set up is too small and that great looking tank shape was no good for going out in the country. over here distances are huge you can see why you need a big bike from this photo. 9.5 hours driving by car on 110km/h all on cruise control from monkey mia to perth on roads like you see in the photo. over here we wear the tyre square not like NZ or England small twisting roads.steve

Steve that was the problem then to corner you noticed it you will note how wide the roads are thats typical of our roads this side of oz was a real eye opener to go back and see my parents in nz i had to learn how to corner all over again. yes the smaller bike was better for cornering but in oz the bigger steadier bike was better. not sure you ever felt the bow wave of a road train traveling at 120km/h coming in the other direction and the suck to pull you in as it passes along side all three trailors fairly scares you on a light bike. steve
