33.タランパジャ峡谷側壁の縦溝(仰望) Fluting on the Talampaya Canyon wall (looked upward)

The side walls of the Talampaya canyon are consisted of red colored sandstone of Triasic period, in Mesozoic era (New Red Sandstone). Numerous flutings with a semi-cylindrical form are found on the canyon walls. They seem to be formed by the corrasion of horizontal eddies caused by violent winds under the desert environment.
