Oh my! :D
I'm glad you like it, Pam. This is in the Boboli Garden behind the Piazzi Palace. The entrance to the bath house is just around the curve on the right side. But there was a sign right by the entrance and this was the only way to keep it out of my frame.
Frustrating isn't it?
I've never seen a bath house like that. I must admit it's a wonderful invention for a gardener/homeowner to escape to on a hot day (saves adding humidity to the house). I've often drooled over outdoor showers, usually built in isolated places, that are built in lush gardens (and have a spectacular view :).
It is frustrating, indeed. I can't even count the times I've visited a place with my camera ready, only to discover that I can't photograph it without including fences, ropes, signs, and the like. People/tourists, I can wait for. But the permanent things put there by the authorities can completely destroy the thing they're trying to protect. Ahrng.
