The side light on this is an inspiration, May. You have obviously enjoyed the colours of spring.

In Spring our meadows are full of them. It's a very small flower. They are often seen together with the dandelions. Spring is late this year, but now it's here bountyful.

Keith and Nick, thanks a lot! In 10 days I will be in England and then I either go on a big tour in the UK or in Ireland. I look forward seeing the scenery and new people in new and old places again. It's always a great pleasure to find your greetings!

Warm regards to both of you, May

Hi May

I did not recognize this lovely picture of what we call Cuckooflower or Ladies Smock, although I have seen it many times in pale pink.

After looking in the book I noticed something that does not mean much to me, but may be of interest to you…there is a double-flowered form flore pleno seen in Devon and even hose-in-hose forms.

Hope it is of interest Regards Peter

Ellen Haider on May 18, 2009 schön dieses Blau in dem Licht! einfach bezaubernd, liebe May!

Thank you, Gabi! They are very common here in Spring and lots of them grow in the meadows. In the macro, they seem to be much bigger than they really are. Greetings, May
