¡Ten cuidado! Esta agua es mucho demasiado caliente para tú nadar. Y si sobrevivÍas, tú serías detenida. :)

The power of a picture......I swear I can smell it from here. ;)

Ahh, yes. The eternal paradox of Yellowstone: beautiful but stinky! Thanks, Lilypon.

LOLOL re stinky ;) It really truly amazes me how powerful that sensory memory is. :S

I think scent has to be the most powerful sense. My first memory of Yellowstone is the smell of rotten eggs. When I was old enough to appreciate all the sights (and the buffalo), I remember not wanting to go back because of that awful smell. Thank goodness I was still very young and didn't have a say in the matter, and of course I changed my mind once we got there.

But now I know the technique: when that warm wet stinky cloud of sulfur blows in your direction, just hold your breath and move out of the way!

Your posts are such a pleasure to read Ryan. :)

I also was unhappy with the rather aromatic :S smells there as a child but I found I wasn't as adverse to them the last time we visited Yellowstone (5 years ago).
