Nice shot, Ryan. Shows the working side of the Mighty Mo!

Ryan, I am sorry to hear about the floods and I sincerely wish, that it won't get worse!

Thanks Maggie! I just now saw your comment, 7 months late! This is definitely one of my early ones here.

Thank you, May, but there's no need to feel sorry. We have floods every year. It's not like the terrible footage you see of homes being swept away, since as I have mentioned before most of the houses are built up in the hills. There are usually a few farms flooded and some roads blocked. We had a very heavy rain the last three days, but the waters here are already receding, and the larger rivers will crest downstream tomorrow or maybe the next day. I don't think any of the levies have been breached, though the water came in some places to within a foot of the top.

Greetings, Ryan

Ryan Calhoun on March 20, 2008 seems I spoke too soon. It's not as widespread as the 1993 flood, but along the Meramec there will be new record flood levels set at the crest on Saturday. And in the meantime, my road is flooded at both ends, so until the weekend is over I will be living on an island!

Soggy greetings, Ryan

They showed pictures of the flood in some states of the USA, among them Missouri. We never had more snow in the whole of this winter than we are having now, but at least that saves us of too much water all of a sudden.

I hope your feet won't get wet. Greetings, May
