Agana Heights, GUAM - Centuries-old cannon relics@Ft. Apugan, Hagatna Heights

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Cannons are found throughout Guam, which are remnants from galleons sailing through their stops in Guam during the 1700s & 1800s. This trio is located at Ft. Apugan right by Government House (the House of the People of Guam), atop a hill overlooking about 3/4 of Guam's western horizon, a beautiful location go view ships/boats coming & going and sunsets...if the rain doesn't get you first...

Thanks Adam..We have a few of these cannons around Guam. They were actually found in the jungles, then transported cleaned and restored for display. When North Korean President Kim Jeoung-Un was threatening to fire missiles toward Guam, these relics were posted on facebook as what "Washington sent to Guam to counter the missiles. Of course it was only a joke but you have to smile at how some people choose to relieve their stress.. lol :)
