The day was bright and sunny but the wind & ocean fed off each other from bad weather coming down from the Japan area & from Alaska. A high surf warning went on for 2-1/2 days but the sun refused to go away. I took this photo at about 5:49 p.m. on 02/03/2009 at the Asan channel, Guam. I had to retreat right after taking this photo because the waves suddenly kept coming towards me even though the waves weren't so close only about 30 seconds earlier.
