Thanks for the great collection of border crossing photos. I mistakenly crossed this one in 2005 by turning right after crossing the US 2 bridge coming out of Vermont. :)
Thanks to some helpful input, the location of this photo has been updated. This station is further from the physical border than most, near the intersection of US Routes 11 and 2.
Not too many in this area. There's a bunch in Vermont though. That said, there proabably isn't more than a dozen buildings across the country that the boundary runs through (not counting joint border stations).

Just taking a quick look at the aerial photography it doesn't look like there are any houses in no mans land.
