I'm glad you like my photos. The foreground is (wet) sand, the tide comes in quite quickly and you can probably tell from the satelite image that you could get surrounded quickly if you were not careful.

It's not 360 deg, as you say, it is probably about 200.

One of my desires when I was still in UK, was to do weather forcasting for photographers.

This way I could do some more drama with my images. Ie predict about clouds visibility, humidity affected of course etc.

I live on a bit isolated island in greece now, where I work but the rural area and mantality of thinking in peoples mind does not allow for too much art here.

Of course, I always go under the british way of shooting landscapes and so far this makes me happy.

So when I look especially in the UK countryside etc., I remember when I was shooting some tidal landscapes for my uni asignments.

On the island I live, tides do exist, but without big effect, like in uk, as the shore line does not extend too much. Maybe is geographic possition which plays important role to this as well.

Thanks Annette. The Prisoner is an acquired taste, but if you've visited Portmeirion it is definitely worth trying to catch an episode or two. Just make sure you go for the 60's original though, not the remake.

Yes, Portmeirion is always great....love the houses in its stunning location..."The Prisoner" is something I would really love to watch - and I must admit I have never seen a single episode of "Doctor Who" which is also located in Wales but not in Portmeirion. I saw "The Prisoner" when I was a little kid. I think that is the best TV series ever and forever.
