well spotted and interesting. sharon i note you use F2.8 but it would have been better(maybe as it depends on what you want) F5.6 or above so you get a greater depth of field in focus. put simply the smaller the fstop the smaller depth of field of focus and the converse it true, well worth a play in this free digital age was more expensive on film way back. steve

Hi again Steve. Marc, my hubby, just told me the same thing about the f stops. I never knew that is what the f stop was for. I tried with some snails in the yard and all I could get in focus was the shell, not the body itself or the ground, so I am going out again and change the f-stop and see. I got a note book and am going to write down what the heck I did on each image so I know why it did what it did. You are the greatest for helping me. I appreciate it and will take all the advice, encouragement or yes, criticism that you care to give. Sharon
