To the right, beyond De Witt Island in the foreground, is Flat Witch Island and further distant Western Rocks.
De Witt island is the largest in the Maatsuyker Group, and is known locally as 'Big Witch'. The NE point of the island (left) is a prominent bluff of white quartzite, and known as Baldy. [Admiralty Pilot 14 - 1982].
