Hi picsonthemove, thanks for your explanation. I agree that the abbey could be larger as you suggest. However, as you say above, the 'blues' make the picture, so the abbey is incidental and provides the contrast. Also, I like to preserve the 2x3 aspect ratio, and any cropping would either spoil this or I would loose some 'blueness'.
