Numerous hiking trails lead through the Emmental countryside and pass many beautiful wooden farmhouses.

Wunderbar! Nicht war? Rafael.

Rafael, I can only agree! Thank you so much! I enjoy the little notes here with you. It's wonderful, photos and the comments aren't a substitute for a talk on the bench, but at least very close to it. :) Warm regards, May

Rafael, thank you so much for the wishes and very special comments, you know how much I appreciate them. My warmest regards, May

Daniela, thank you so much for your lovely comment! As much as Switzerland is known, the less known places like the quiet Emmental aren't visited as often, though it's a region, which is ideally placed, 12 km to the capital (Bern) and adjoining the famous Bernese Oberland with some of the most majestic mountains (with more than 14'000 feet)in the Alps.

Best wishes, May

Dear May. I often look through your albums and was happy to discover new wonderful pictures. This is one of those shots that I want to consider a long time, plunging into the atmosphere of a quiet spring evening, among the hills of your favorite Emental. There is no exotics, which usually attracts the attention of photographers. The beauty of this picture that it conveys the feelings and mood of the author, and it resonates in the soul of the viewer. Best wishes and new creative successes. Vladimir

Dear Vladimir, thank you very much for your beautiful words! I am happy to read that you can get the feeling of the atmosphere, when I was taking the photo. You surely realize that you had been very near to this place, when you walked up to the black dog - it's on the same trail.

I do hope you give me the chance to show these and other places in reality to you and your wife. :)

My very best wishes, May

Dear May, Thank you for offering to show us your favorite places. We still do not have a plan for the coming summer. If circumstances permit and we'll be able to come to Swisserland, I will inform you about this in advance and we will discus this idea in details. Best wishes, Vladimir

Margrit M. Berger (S… on November 16, 2009

Vladimir, thank you! I haven't any plans yet, but roughly I know the dates, when I usually am away from home. You'll hear from me. Warm regards, May

Thank you very much for returning, Rafael! It's amazing how places and photos can express un ambiente de sentimientos. :)

Warm wishes, May
