I used to bring the kids here for a run and kickabout then get them home for a scrub-up before their Mam came in from work! (thhey are a bit busy now, kids of their own!)

memorable shot Keith, thanks

We were faced with a choice: Go to the library or nip out for an hour or so with the cameras. Easy decision really.

I was surprised how many "keepers" there were from this trip. I just goes to show that beauty can be found anywhere if you use the camera to isolate it.

Thanks for calling in, mate.

Keith, sick that I'm working throughout the BH weekend.

Hi Keith, I always rated Bedlington for its beauty, even the old iron works that got bombed by Zepellin in the fosrt world war!, I painted a lovely picture of the seven sisters and the old mill & neighbouring farm ruins, the steppy stones and quite a few incidental wee bits around the river and park, all sold to local collectors in various wee exhibitions-maybe to cheap!

Your selection is toprate, mebbe the tourist board needs to see them?

I am going through photos from 1990, holiday in Turkey, mainly for painting ~ I just re-found them buried within the telly drawers, as I got rid of the telly dvd etc today, I don't suppose you know anyone who needs a 2 drawer telly stand in antique pine?

keepahaad, bonny laad, at least the weathers warmer for riding the bus!

Thanks again, blai. I think I was lucky with the light emphasising the diagonal ridges in the grass (possibly due to mining subsidence). The table's position, luckily, was on a similar orientation.

I am happy to have spotted it.

I look forward to your photo of the cafe. On our first visit to Barcelona, we stayed at the Hotel Espana, just down the alley from the Liceu, and the cafe was the first place we visited on the first day. It is special to us (and it is a nice building).

Regards, Keith
