It's me again, She's a fine sailer, about 12 to 14 metres, and she's not doing badly at 8knts. Many of my friends own and sail yachts and having sailed with them a time or two I can see the attraction. Is your name Nawitka or is it a "non de plume" ? and is this Marina your permanent berth? It looks a nice place with plenty of sheltered waters. We also freeze over in the winter but it never lasts for more than a few days. evensy

This was our winter mooring two years ago -- we have a different place this year at Granville Island, much more convenient. Zoom out one or two clicks and look directly south of this location; there is an inlet called "False Creek", and under the middle of the three bridges there is a small island. That's where we are now.
The ice is pretty unusual for us too. I'm not Nawitka, but she is, she's 12m. I originally thought I'd just be posting photos of where she's been, but it turned out to be so much fun I've had to add my own landlubber photos as well. Pleasure chatting with you, Evansy!
