Taon 1970-1980an Pantai Sampur beken bener, rami pagi-sure, banyak urang muket, neba' cuk-lan-cai, g thai-lan, mancing, suku-laut sekak naek darat jual ikan seger, banyak kopi-tiam, jual theu-fu-sui, kue basah. Ape-agi' lipai, waduuuuh rami ngian yg datang begandeng, betunang, ngenew, budak-2 maen pasir pasir puteh. Tapi damai, tenteram, dak de sentimen sara. Kini semue toh la ilang lenyep, pantai pian sepi, sampah sekaput, menyedihkan

In 1970-1980 beach Sampur was so distinguished for its many fishermen, crowded in the morning and afternoon with big and small fish-net, fishing, and even "Seka" tribe living on boat came to land to sell their very fresh fish, coffee-huts served also soya-milk, cookies and cakes. The beach on Sunday was WOW, full of domestic visitors, young and old coming in couple, or teenagers went steady, children played on white sand. It was so peaceful, tranquil no race issue. BUT NOW, these were all gone, disappeared, the beach is almost isolated, with scattered rubbish. What a sadness
