Hi where was this taken?
I must have missed mapping this one, I have now done so.
There is a view of this great oak from further away on this shot
All the best Peter
Hi Peter! It is real mighty english oak!The personification of english land!I try to say!:)
I understand what you mean, that the Oak tree typifies the English landscape.
Here is a link to the Natural History and ancient wisdom, that explains much better than I could!
Hi Peter!Thank You very much for the reference!I am reading it now!I like oak trees especially!Old Good Russian Friend Diggory Venn!
I just love to see old oak trees, we have a few very old ones in Leicestershire, next time that I visit the Tamwrth area, I will take a closer look now that the Oak is a couple of years older.(Like)
Big oaks always make me think of Robin Hood!
Robin who? that Oak is more like Friar Tuck.
Did you manage to push it over?
Actually it is my old china, sadly not with us now, trying to draw some energy from the big fella. We needed needed the energy to get to the rub a dub dud and then for a ruby!
All the best from Brummie Pete
