I am honoured by your award, Landry. Merci beaucoup.
Greetings from France, Maximeo
Merci beaucoup, maximeo. The trees have a very different form but I remember some photogenic foggy mornings in the Loire when I was there years ago.
Thank you, 良君.
I believe I have been influenced by Chinese Art.

A wonderful photo! I vote! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I wish health, good luck in all things, a good mood! Victor!
Thank you Victor, for your special greetings and encouragement.
I am very pleased that you have enjoyed this image. It was a very special morning out with the camera, and I started right here at this lookout, in the dark before sunrise, and there was enough light and sensor sensitivity to read this view. I was so pleased with it, then and through the appreciation of friends have come to value this image very much. So thanks.
And best wishes for 2012.
Thank you Michelle* and Mike.
Your awards are treasured. I was back there only yesterday, because something unusual happened. We experienced a summer fog yesterday morning!
The day had been hot with a northerly wind bringing hot humid air in from the Coral Sea, making an uncomfortable day. But during the night the land breeze gently drains cooler air from the plateau and ranges to the west f down this valley, dropping the temperature and creating a fog.
This summer fog doesn't behave quite the way of the winter fog. Winter-fogs form from the ground up, first filling the low areas and settling like a thick, almost still, blanket over the landscape.
But yesterday's summer fog formed in the gently moving air, and the higher air became foggy first, and the fog continued to move rather than lie like a blanket. From the same vantage point as this photo was taken, one could not see the mountain tops at times, then they would appear and seem like small islands in a white sea.
I hope I can post a successful summer fog photos once I review yesterday's photo-shoot.
Thanks for your appreciation of this photo. It is an all time favourite of mine, especially because it was photographed so close to home!
Only this week, in the heat of mid-summer we had an usual summer fog, and I enjoyed photographing it too. Thought you might enjoy seeing a photo of it too.
Happy New Year Jens 16761,
Thanks for your praise of this photo.
This week we experienced another fog, but in the middle of summer and it was quite a different phenomena. Perhaps you will enjoy this one too.
Wow, very beautiful! Great catch, Stunning atmosphere L + F.
Kind regards, from the Netherlands, Ruud
I am grateful for your appreciation of this image, Ruud. It was a special moment as I watched the gentle movement of the fog the revealed the air flows across the farms on this riverine island. I am sure that it reminds you of many mornings in NL.
Kind regards from Queensland,
Wonderful morning weather.
Best wishes !
