Tonia, thank you very much. You're always giving me such great compliments!

steve, I was referring to close as in close to the first raccoon photo in my gallery, the one with all those views! I changed the title because folks who are not familiar with that photo just wouldn't get the close, but no cigar title.

Hans, yup, they are getting easier to get outdoors and get closer. They are always facing me when they are a bit skittish, it's when they no longer bother to worry about me that I can't make them look at the camera. The one in the middle here would NOT give me that look. Oh, well. They sure are a lot of fun to photograph.

Thanks!

Near, but not better than your first one :-))

Klaus

Jean Gregory Evans on May 29, 2009

Yes, yes, I KNOW!! Klaus, you are so right about that. I guess I've already gotten the best one I'll ever get of them. But I can keep on trying. They just won't cooperate, but the really hot weather hasn't arrived yet... you just wait!

I keep my fingers crossed for you :-))

Jean Gregory Evans on May 29, 2009

Klaus, well, you don't have to do that, you might get a cramp in them before that ever happens! HHaaa HHaaa!

Good night Jean, see you later, Klaus

They do seem inclined to posing for you, Jean. You almost hit the same set as your original famous one.

Jean Gregory Evans on June 9, 2009

not1word, yeah, that little stinker in the middle just would not look at me. I made all sorts of crazy noises trying to get his attention but he completely ignored me. He's getting too used to my antics, I suppose.

Urbi, thank you. To my surprise, there were raccoons in the trees early this morning!

Great pictures of the coons. Tell us the story, how did you come to be able to get so many good pictures of them?
