I see you are having great fun with your cute "mates".

Amelia Royan on May 26, 2009

As soon as I saw these raccoon photos Jean, I thought of Rocky Raccoon by the Beetles. Beautiful photography, and clear as a bell. Thanks for all the memories as well :)))

Greetings, Amelia

They're baaack! Pretty funny how they do like to travel in threes! (LOL, were they just taking a break from posing for you here? ) And as for the '3's, they seem to group that way even in Masset !

Still trying to get them to line up again Jean? That was a once in a lifetime I think. They are very cute little critters. Sorry I am going to bump your comment kamaly. With Panoramio slower than usual I have to jump in while my patience lasts. H

Jean Gregory Evans on May 29, 2009

Tonia, I think they are pretty too. Funny faces. Thank you again for your visit in my gallery!

M, yes, my mates are back! It is difficult to get work done - I keep wanting to watch them and see what they are up to.

Amelia, I just had to stop and have a listen at Rocky Raccoon. Love the Beatles! The raccoons came out during the daylight while the sun was out! They are nocturnal so I wonder if the sun doesn't really hurt their eyes ... but they don't even squint!

kamaly, I think these three are mom and two babies from last year, a little family. Hey, thanks for showing me the photo that Gnarly did of those three kitten wearing sunglasses with their eyes painted on the front and that made them look like raccoons and their names are Gene, Greg and Evan! I found them this morning already and felt so thoroughly complimented! What a thrill. That guy, Gnarly sure is a hoot!

Helen, I guess I'll always be trying to get another thrilling photo like that other one, the one with the big number of views. I know what you mean about Pano, it was totally out a lot recently and lost tags, photos, favorites, favorite photos, everything been coming and going. I guess things will settle down pretty soon though. This morning has been a breeze, how wonderful it has been. Well, now it is afternoon.

Thank you all!

Nice, very nice!

(And I admire your patience with panoramio)

Greetings Klaus

Jean Gregory Evans on May 29, 2009

Klaus, thank you! I don't think of it as patience, but just a fact, just the way things are. Got no choice, just wait and hope for the best. I see you've been patient, as well!

friend across the big pond,

K.Herr on May 29, 2009

Jean let me explain: I´m working in IT-bussiness since more than 20 years (last 10 years in a US-company!) and what I see here, is far below the qualitystandards I know. It seems to be a try and error approach (since months!). I´m realy astonished about the patience of the panoramio users.

Jean Gregory Evans on May 29, 2009

Klaus, Well, since you put it that way... I guess I am pretty patient.

I wouldn't know who to complain to even if I could figure out what to complain about. Exactly. I'm just one of many who are like that I guess, we just want to have fun and sometimes we all have to wait for that. It wasn't long ago that we didn't have this wonderful Panoramio so I'm just grateful that it works as well as it does!

I wish you were working for Panoramio and GE! Ever think of changing over? tee hee.

I have heard that it is supposed to be much better after the move which should be done by the end of the month. I wait and see.

K.Herr on May 29, 2009

:-)) I´m waiting for this move since a long time. Since the last hour the performance is very well here (maybe they found the right switch??) hopefully they realized it.

Ok, maybe everything will be fine sometimes (soon!) All in all, Panoramio is realy a wonderful toy to bring people together from all over the world. It gives us interresting themes to talk about, across all borders of countries, religions, social origin and so on.

So: let´s wait and see.

Greetings Klaus

Jean Gregory Evans on May 29, 2009

Klaus, yes, I agree with you!

However, I am wondering where they moved from and where they moved too.

I wonder if it is just across the hallway or across the computer programs or maybe they got real daring and moved across town or across the country or globe... or maybe they really got daring and moved across the galaxy!

I wonder.

>Säm2 on August 9, 2009

I think you like Waschbären or what this nice pets in englisch? Raccoons?

Greetings Säm

Jean Gregory Evans on August 11, 2009

Säm, you are right, I do adore the raccoons who visit me. They live in the woods near my house. I live in the woods too! So I guess you could say that I visit them as well.

Great days to you!

Itallica on August 22, 2009

They look like a gang of bandits. Nice capture.

Jean Gregory Evans on August 23, 2009

Itallica, they probably really are a gang of bandits but here I give freely. I invite them so they don't have to rob me.
