Did you have some kind of lensbaby attached for this one, Nick?

Nick Weall on May 26, 2009

whoelius ~~ Your question has me puzzled ~ I like the sound of a lens baby ~ but maybe in front of the camera instead of wrapped around the lens ~ the Camera is so heavy already!!! :)))))

The Lens is a 14-24mm wide angle lens that provides some distortion as it squeezes remarkably large buildings into a small frame. Hopefully this answers your question but if not please ask again using different words :))

Friendly greetings ~ Ciao nick

Ah. Sorry, Nick. It was the first thing I typed this morning so some of the brain cells were still waiting for the voltage. I see now you're using a D700. It seemed wider than 18 mm but the FX format explains it :D

I love the shot, by the way. Beautifully balanced.

Nick Weall on May 26, 2009

whoelius yes ~ mind you it is possible that the D700 is using me!! ~ Glad you love the shot and yes the balancing act is all me !!! (I hope)

Ciao nick

Good shot and very nice picture Nick. You have made some interesting frames of large buildings from London, using your D7000 and 14-24mm wide angle lens. All the best.
