The place is near "Ayagama". You have two roads to reach there. First is from Panadura-Ratnapura road. But I don't know exactly from where you want to turn from the main road, but you can ask from someone as Ayagama is a famous place there.
Second is from Horana, Mathugama road, turning from Bulathsinhala to Ayagama road which i used. The total distance was around 70-75km from Colombo city.
I think both the roads are damaged and hard to reach from a car. (Van or a jeep will ease the trip, but you can hardly manage with a car as i did). Difficult distance is around 18-12km in both roads. This is the upper side of the Kukulegnaga hydro project area.
Finally, I had the visit there while we on a journey to a relative near by and I don't think it is not much to have a explicit trip. But i saw you are a visitor for any place in the country. So post more beautiful pictures if u have a visit since you have the capability.
It is Panadura-Ratnapura road.
wow. nice pics.
We are also planning to spend two days at Ayagama. And I am in search of places to visit near Ayagama.
This place seem beautiful.
Is it kind of difficult to get there?
Can we have a bath there?
I searched in the internet and could not find any results regarding the Meenu Ells.
Please help me with what you know about this falls.
It is nice to here that people visiting this kind of rural beauties. What i suggest is to get some advise from villagers before having a bath. it is not a tall one, but it is in few steps. you can drive almost closer to the falls. not far away from Ayagama junction. I hope i fixed the pic in the exact location, but if you go close-by, villagers can direct you easily. It is not available on the web.
