For anyone who might be afraid to come to Boston in the winter because of this photo, be assured the weather isn't typically quite so wild to have everything along the harbor coated in dripping sea-ice! There had been an unusually wild storm a day or two earlier, and I took the photo because it was so out of the ordinary. (I hadn't known it at the time, but there were large sea-wall boulders along the edge behind me, about 2 meters cubed each, that were dislodged and thrown up onto land!)
