(It's probably a Wine store for an old yuppie, who only comes to visit when the weather is clement!) but all these houses used to be Fisher folks homes, when they SAILED into the North Sea to catch Herrings with nets, without machinery, then the Women would clean the fish and they would be smoked to cure them. The best Kippers in the World are CRASTER KIPPERS!

Mike (aa luv 'em wid nee byans in!)

Hello Bonnie Lad, I didn't manage to get to you today, left Edinburgh late and got stuck in traffic all over the place. I was glad to get back to Shropshire in one piece with only a stone chip on the windscreen, done in the last 2 miles! We have one of these in our garden, I keep the garden tools in it.

It's always a shame when the culture of a place disappears - but I'm glad you still get the kippers. I hope you eat them with your beads on, and the Afghan coat as well ... power to the flowers is what I say :)))

Ca canny noo, Amelia
