Alex is on a winters night but i agree it looks like a summer sky the colours has the look of molten lava to me hence the name.

To my mate Jim and Gargoyle i see nothing , i know nothing.steve

Jean it was a good night this is one of 274 photo i took must do it again soon, i was struck how similar to lava the sky was apart from the ship to bring you back to reality. the NCP shot was a stitch of two for that extra view but may be this should have been my NCP shot. sai la vi . steve

Kamaly & Wolf i have finally put this shot as my background at work sure brightens the office. on reflection kamaly you are right made up for very poor waves i hope to see a sky like this again even got rain to the left of screen but we got nothing. many thanks to you both. steve
