Brussel, 19 december 2006 – De VRT-RTBF-toren wordt een opvallend lichtbaken aan de skyline van de hoofdstad. De toren aan de Reyerslaan wordt door een combinatie van spotlampen en LED-lichtjes voortaan elke avond op een spectaculaire manier verlicht. Brussels minister van Mobiliteit en Openbare Werken Pascal Smet geeft daarmee het startschot voor de uitvoering van een lichtplan voor Brussel. Pascal Smet zal in de toekomst ook andere bekende gebouwen, handelsassen en pleinen beter verlichten om het imago van Brussel beter te promoten.
