hi vanadasos, this is a palace found in alexandria, north coast of egypt, it was owned by a royal princess (aisha fahmy), and now it's owned by the ministry of culture

Beautiful...It is sad how the architectural beauty of Alexandria has been defiled by all the new horrible buildings...Just go to Bahari, and see all the beautiful builidngs on the shoreline, despite Bahari being a common folk's neighbourhood, and compare with the new commrecial builidngs in the finest of areas in Alexandria

This mansion belonged to Aziza Hanem Fahmy, daughter of the Architect Aly Pasha Fahmy who designed the entire area of Ramleh in Alexandria. The mansions of her sister Aisha and Fatma were nearby but were torn down and many appartment buildings stand in their place today. Although the Fahmy's were a wealthy and prominent family, they are not part of Egypt's formar Ropyal Family.
