Dhyana Pura Hotel is a place of wonderful hospitality and is a great base for access to Legian, Kuta and Denpasar commercial areas. This becomes my base for every visit to wonderful Bali. This image was taken before the white lady was given a fresh coat of white paint - one of the first simple enhancements required by the new General Manager, Pdt Ruspendi Djunaedi. In 2006, I led a peacebuilding course for Indonesians from many of the conflict areas of Eastern Indonesia, and we held the course here at Dhyana Pura Hotel and at their retreat centre near Bedugul in the western mountaains of Bali.

Isn't Ruspendi a wonderful fellow? And yes the white girl does look great painted white. When the Dutch are there at Dhyana Pura she usually gets an orange bandana or sash to adorn her!
