Hi Ian from Sydney. I have long thought this barn ought to be heritage listed and permanently given the name "Ernst's Corner/Barn." It's what our family has always called it too. Do you know who owns it now? I heard that Eric Randall had sold. Someone thought he may have even passed away. I would hate for someone new to buy it off the government and demolish it, or for the name Ernst's Corner to fade from history. Troy Reeves.

I don't know the latest on land sales and leases, but the last I heard it was being leased by Hamiltons. Eric Randall has passed away, a few years ago now.

Templeton's have bought the parallel farm on the east side of the Coonoon Gibber and have planted ginger already, and intend also to grow sugar cane as well.

We'd welcome a visit anytime: the Boyz from Imbil get together. In Imbil,
