Ryan Smart & Rebecca Smart in their Mitsubishi Lancer Envo 9 turn out of Travers Road into Derrier Road, through an awkward 140degree turn. Throwing dust and gravel, accelerating, already intent on the straight ahead, they show skill and courage the pushes limits in of themselves and their machine. They finished 4th in this event of the 2009 Australian Rally Championship.
Very nice picture and story. Congrats. Attached is a picture from much slower race...regards
Thanks for your visit oronbb. It is good to receive your comment and to go all-terrain with you and your camera.

Thanks again, AZRA. The 5th Round of the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship will be held in Malaysia near Johor Bahru on the 15th-16th August. You will have to take your camera to JB for the weekend.
Almost, Craig. I drive a Mitsubishi 380, though...and I know these roads for I have been driving them since I was 11. Even in my Morris 1100 - my first car, as these forestry roads are and have always been so well maintained, there wasn't one I didn't check out! My young wife then, didn't have quite the same sense of adventure. But it worked well when I learnt to find nice quite glades on a mountain top or beside the creeks to spend retreat time together. Then I could fit the adventure and challenges in between.
Hi Mandy - I have just seen your husband in the Punchbowl!!!!!!!!!!!! and that is a great shot also.
Fantastic composition Ian, you've really captured the drama of the rally.
One or two of the vehicles did a bit more "sideways in the sun" that day on this corner, Alan. I appreciate your affirmation, very much.
Evo rules ;)
Tight corner, Mario! And Smart driving!
