Hello Sharon

You got a very good shot in a good angle. It seems this T-Rex is live and wants to act...

The shape of clouds is very fantastic and lovely to mee.

Thanks for sharing

Majid

This is the very famous T-Rex from Pee Wee's Big Adventure. We were on our way home from Joshua Tree and I just felt the need to get a few photos of this sweet creature. Thanks for visiting.

This is why HDRI was invented. Perfect application. Well done.

Al Mahat (AZRA) on June 5, 2009

Hello Sharon. Wow .. this looks real and alive. With the enhancement of clouds really put this photo in a prehistoric environment.

Good shot and editing.

Regards from Malaysia....AZRA

Hi Art and AZRA. Thanks for the very nice remarks. I thought this was a great HDR shot. The sky had just the right amount of clouds to give it that little extra. Thanks. Sharon

Sharon, You are scaring me. This looks too real in HDRI! Gorgeous photo otherwise. I have loved dinosaurs since my dad first took me to the Museum of Natural History in Manhattan 55 years ago. Best regards. -Art (who is old enough to BE a dinosaur)

Thanks Art. Let's not talk age -- I am right up there too. ;-). Thanks for the comments regarding my dinosaur. I drive past them all the time going to Phoenix and have never stopped. Do you remember the Movie "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" This is where Pee Wee and Simone sat and talked of Paris. Now, who is dating herself. Have a great week, Sharon

Art Anderson on June 8, 2009

:) Never went to see any movies with Pee Wee in the title at any age, Sharon. I did regret not stopping to see the Dinosaur foot prints in Tuba City after having hiked for 20 miles in the Painted Desert. It's a regular joke with my family about going back to Tuba City. Best regards. -Art

Hi Art. Thank you for the link. Very interesting. I have driven past the Painted Desert but never stopped. Now that I am older and hopefully a little wiser, I will have to go. Not sure I can trek 20 miles though. I just love discovering something and all things new, or at least new to me. You are a wealth of information also with your gallery and information linked to many of the photos. Thank you, if I have never told you that before. Sharon

D.R.Lamont on June 9, 2009

great stuff!! I think I could take him, he's not so big.

Nawitka on June 23, 2009

Oh Don you sure talk big. I like him Sharon; that is a grand picture -- I sure hope I can sneak away under his feet before he sees me! I am a sucker for roadside dinosaurs too. If you ever go to Drumheller they are everywhere! :)

~~West Coast Sharon~… on June 23, 2009

Hi Guys, It does seem a little cheesy to have dinosaurs along the side of the road --- But these are famous movie stars from "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" not just your run of the meal dinosaurs. Thanks for the link to the other's Nawitka. Sharon

Hi Johan. Sorry for getting back to you so late. I have been away from Pano for a while but now I am back. I always love all you photos. You get to go to the most fascinating places. All I get around to is Southern California. Thanks for stopping by. Sharon

Brilliant - and the HDR adds all the impact - another cracking shot Sharon :-)

~~West Coast Sharon~… on December 16, 2009

Thanks Grumpy. I use Photomatix for my HDR work, which program do you use??? I thought this one turned out well. The skies were just a overcast gray dull sky until I combined all three shots. Thanks again, Sharon
