Hi my friend,

Have been looking at your latest Hong Kong pictures, always as good as ever. I noticed that you had taken some near Diamond Hill, I lived up there at kaw Wah terrace, right near a cemetery, I was wondering if you have any pictures from as close to that area. I used to walk down the hill to what was RAF Kia Tak, there was also a girls school there. I wonder what you can find. Kind regards. Gordon

Thank you Gordon, let me try! I remember I've taken these area, but I need to find them out. Regarding the girls school... Do you remember the name?

Gordon670 on January 19, 2012

No I can't remember the name, but if you went up Diamond Hill as you reached the start of the cemetery on the right the girls school was on the left more to the centre of the cemetery, just before the start of the hills and of course in those days not a lot of development from that point, and of course in front of our flat there were the night soil gardens, my photo of Kaw Wah Terrace is the best I can provide, thanks. Gordon

Yes, going up Diamond Hill road the cemetery was on the right and the girls school was on the left, equal to about the middle of the cemetery, it was slightly beyond Kaw Wah Terrace, long gone know doubt, I don have any photos to show you

I'll upload some next time, let's see if these photos are taken at the location of old girls school...

Gordon670 on February 6, 2012

If the cemetery is still on Diamond Hill then you won't be far away from the girls school, and Kah Wah terrace, I will look forward to seeing what you can find

Regards. Gordon

Hi Gordon, you may look at my new uploaded photos now. They were taken in May 2011. I don't know whether these photos are what you expect to see :)

Gordon670 on February 17, 2012

Hi my friend, I have now looked at all your pictures of Hong Kong, some 2300, there are an awfull lot that of course that I don't recognise, but did remember some of the names of the areas were there had been so many changes, like Junk Bay, never any buildings there when I walked it, had to look at map many times to see new locations, those that I did remember were where buildings had not changed since 1960. Well done you have a fantastic Hong Kong gallery, I will always be wanting to see your updates. Keep the shutter box active! Kind regards. Gordon
